These ready-to-use, slim, plastic DGT passive samplers for deployments in sediments use a flat plastic probe with tapered end, to minimize disturbance during insertion and removal. The overall dimensions are 5 x 240 x 40 mm, with an exposure window of 18 x 150 mm. The binding gel in the retrieved probe can be sliced at any desired spatial resolution prior to analysis.
Two types of DET probes are also available. They have the same dimensions as the DGT sediment probes and are suitable for making measurements using the technique of diffusive equilibration in thin-films (DET).

For measuring equilibrium concentrations in porewaters. Specially designed DET holder with a series of 1x1x18 mm slits stacked vertically for 15 cm (75 slits). Slits are filled with agarose gel and overlaid by a polyethersulphone filter membrane. There is no binding layer. -
